About Me

While obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Communication from Bradley University, I have gained experience and skills that equip me in many different areas of life. I have had the opportunity to intern with three different organizations.

My first experience as an intern was with Kira Kwon PhotoJournalism, a highly acclaimed professional photographer in the Peoria area. This experience challenged me to be flexible with time management and collaborative work efforts. Through this internship, I was faced with a variety of tasks to complete under stringent time stipulations.

Shortly after beginning my internship with Kira Kwon PhotoJournalism, I began my second internship with the Morton Chamber of Commerce where I assisted in planning a major event with an attendance of over 70,000 people. I learned to develop an effective work ethic that has influenced me to have a positive attitude no matter what the circumstance.

My current internship with 91.5 WCIC has taught me the significance of setting personal goals and achieving them through hard work and determination. The skills I have acquired lead me to be an excellent candidate for this internship.

I am also involved in several other organizations on Bradley University’s campus. As social chair for Kappa Phi Christian Women’s club, I plan several events based on the interests of the members. I have been involved with the Women’s Chorale on campus for three years and an acapella women’s group of twelve members for one year. While being involved in these organizations, I have developed skills that allow me to work effectively on a team.
